technical rehearsal

we decided that it would be a good idea to have a rehearsal at the location to familiarise our selves with the equipment more and give me a better idea on the angles that the video should be shot at.we took 3 camera's as well as the craine to the performing arts building called 'beech'.this helped us to work out the correct levels of lighting that would be required to make it easier for us when we edit the video and also any problems or glitches that arise and how we could potentially avoid them.

the reason behind using 3 camera's was simply due to the fact that such a upbeat video requires many straight cuts to diffrent angles to keep the viewers interested. we used three different angles and perspectives (left, right and centre) with the centre camera being positioned on a crane to gain much more effective shots such as high angle, low angle and tracking.

from the start we had our hearts set on shooting at beech as it was so perfect for a dance video as there is alot of space and has in built lighting.
