evaluation of shoot 1 and 2

Filming in Beech proved to be an invaluable experience for us in terms of the lesson learnt, looking over the footage that we captured within the editing suite it became quite apparent to us that none of the footage we shot was any use to us and this was due to a number of reasons. The black backdrop curtains proved to be an unneccessary effect due to the fact that whilst editing it was not possible to create the black and white scheme that we were hoping to insert within our video as the whole screen would just turn black and none of the dancers, artist faces would show.

Our initial idea of having three cameras also proved to be an ineffective and time wasting strategy, this was because it took us a long time to switch between tapes and therefore delayed our editing process. We have now decided to stay with one tape and also decided to change the shoot of our next location to the green screen room as it will be much easier to edit and also much easier to capture footage with.
