insufficent footage...
the footage we captured doesnt seem to be enough and we have spotted alot of gaps and we think we will need to carry out another shoot.we realised that the footage has alot of dancing and hardly any miming from the artist simone.we consulted our director about this issue and have decided there is a need for an additional shoot,
editing the music video...
we have started logging and capturing the video, theres alot of footage to work with and we need to produce the video to the higest standard possible wich means some of the footage is un suitable.the start of the video will be footsteps and we have decided to have the eding credits at the end.
SHOOTING FINISHED!
we finally managed to fininsh the shootinga and have hopefully gathered all the footage that we need and can now proceed to the next step of editing the music video. we did this as a team and we have learnt alot through this, we managed to keep all quarells and arguments outside of shooting and were all united and focused during shooting which made it a huge success.simone our lead dancer has been faboulous and very co-operative and without her we wouldnt be able to have a music video.
evaluation of shoot 3
this shoot was a success, due to the fact that we were more organised and had everything ready. we all did our roles effectively and the dancers were on time.eventhough the repetitive shooting of scenes had the dancers tired we managed to gather alot of important footage.

OUR MAIN DANCER/ARTIST SIMONE:

evaluation of shoot 1 and 2
Filming in Beech proved to be an invaluable experience for us in terms of the lesson learnt, looking over the footage that we captured within the editing suite it became quite apparent to us that none of the footage we shot was any use to us and this was due to a number of reasons. The black backdrop curtains proved to be an unneccessary effect due to the fact that whilst editing it was not possible to create the black and white scheme that we were hoping to insert within our video as the whole screen would just turn black and none of the dancers, artist faces would show.
Our initial idea of having three cameras also proved to be an ineffective and time wasting strategy, this was because it took us a long time to switch between tapes and therefore delayed our editing process. We have now decided to stay with one tape and also decided to change the shoot of our next location to the green screen room as it will be much easier to edit and also much easier to capture footage with.
